Abstract:
THE HELIUM ACT (P.L. 86-777) (50 U.S.C 167A, ET SEQ.) REQUIRES FEDERAL AGENCIES TO PROCURE HELIUM FROM THE BUREAU OF MINES, DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR. THE NEW SUBPART PROVIDES AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF GUIDANCE ON THE SUBJECT, INCLUDING A REQUIREMENT THAT OFFERORS RESPONDING TO CONTRACT SOLICITATIONS PROVIDE INFORMATION AS TO THEIR FORECAST OF HELIUM REQUIRED FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE
