Abstract:
THE SURVEY IS THE ONLY SOURCE FOR COTTON GINNINGS WHICH ARE NEEDED BY THE USDA TO PREPARE MONTHLY AND ANNUAL COTTON PRODUCTION ESTIMATES AND PRODUCTION COST ESTIMATES. DATA ARE USED BY THE COTTON INDUSTRY AND A VITAL IN PROVIDING A STABLE MARKET.
