THE LMRDA REQUIRES UNIONS TO FILE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS, TRUSTEESHIP REPORTS, COPIES OR THEIR CONSTITUTION AND BY LAWS. UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES REPORTS ARE REQUIRED OF UNION OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES, EMPLOYERS, LABOR CONSULTANTS AND SURETY COMPANIES. FILERS ARE REQUIRED TO RETAIN SUPPORTING RECORDS 5 YEARS. UNION ARE REQUIRED TO RETAIN ELECTION RECORDS 1 YEAR.

The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
