Approved under the following conditions: -- ED shall provide applicants for Strengthening grants with the most recent version of program regulations. The package submitted for OMB review is dated August 1987, and these regulations were amended in May 1990. -- OMB grants continued approval of regulatory provision 607.11. -- ED shall reformat the package to ensure that the form which appears on the reverse of the SF424 is placed immendiately after the accompanying instructions, or on the same page if possible. -- ED shall correct the page references to forms throughout the packag and specifically on pp. 24, 28, and 31. The current page references d not correspond to where these forms appear in the package.

THIS INFORMATION IS REQUIRED OF INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION APPLYING F A STRENGTHENING INSTITUTIONS PROGRAM GRANT UNDER TITLE III, PART A OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION ACT OF 1965, AS AMENDED. THE INFORMATION WILL BE USED IN THE EVALUATION PROCESS TO DETERMINE WHICH APPLICANTS SHOULD RECEIVE FUNDS.
