Abstract:
THE MPPP IS A MECHANISM BY WHICH LENDING INSTITUTIONS, MORTGAGE SERVICING COMPANIES, AND OTHERS SERVICING MORTGAGE LOAN PORTFOLIOS CAN BRING THEIR MORTGAGE LOANS PORTFOLIOS INTO COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLOOD INSURANCE PURCHASE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FLOOD DISASTER PROTECTION ACT OF 1973.
