Abstract:
MOTOR VEHICLE STANDARDS, MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY, HEARINGS, LEGAL RECORD THIS REGULATION ESTABLISHES PROCEDURES FOR ANY PERSON TO PETITION THE AGENCY FOR A HEARING TO DETERMINE WHETHER A MANUFACTURER HAS MET ITS OBLIGATION TO NOTIFY VEHICLE OWNERS OF A DEFECT OR NONCOMPLIANCE AND WHETHER THE REMEDY HAS BEEN SATISFACTORY.
