Abstract:
MSHA IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INSPECTION, TESTING, APPROVAL AND CERTIFICATIONAND QUALITY CONTROL OF MINE EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENTS, MATERIAL, INSTRUMENTS, AND EXPLOSIVES USED BY THE MINING INDUSTRY. TITLE 30 CFR PARTS 11 THROUGH 36 CONTAIN PROCEDURES BY WHICH MANUFACTURERS MAY APPLYFOR AND HAVE EQUIPMENT APPROVED AS PERMISSIBLE FOR USE IN MINES.
