Abstract:
INFORMATION ON NRC FORMS 542 AND 542A IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT STATE AND COMPACTS KNOW THE ORIGINAL GENERATORS OF LOW-LEVEL WASTE AS AUTHORIZED BY LOW-LEVEL RADIATION WASTE POLICY AMENDMENTS ACT OF 1985, SO THAT THE WASTE IS DISPOSED OF IN THE APPROPRIATE COMPACT.
