Abstract:
FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS SOMETIMES REQUIRE U.S. IMPORTERS OF STRATEGIC COMMODITIES TO FURNISH THEIR FOREIGN SUPPLIER WITH A U.S. DELIVERY VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE VALIDATING THAT THE COMMODITIES SHIPPED TO TH U.S. WERE IN FACT RECEIVED. THIS PROCEDURE INCREASES THE EFFECTIVENES OF CONTROLS OVER EXPORTS OF STRATEGIC COMMODITIES.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
