Terms of Clearance: Approved for use through 2/93. OMB approved these requirements in less than 60 days in the interest of not impeding surveyor trainin and initial implementation of CLIA '88 by the regulatory effective dat of September 1, 1992. This action's 6 month approval period was determined with the understanding that additional changes are forth- coming in response to the 2/28/92 final rule with comment. OMB anticipates that HCFA will be updating these guidelines to accomodate these changes.
