Abstract:
THE EARLY ESTIMATES PORTION OF THE PRIVATE SCHOOLS SURVEY WILL OBTAIN BASIC INFORMATION FROM 1,200 PRIVATE SCHOOLS. THE INFORMATION INCLUDE THE TYPE OF SCHOOL, LENGTH OF SCHOOL YEAR, THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AND THE CURRENT, EXPECTED NUMBERS OF HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES, A PERCENTAGE OF RACE/ETHNICITY. THIS DATA WILL BE USED TO PRODUCE EARLY ESTIMATES OF THE UNIVERSE CHARACTERISTICS ON A FAST TURNAROUND BASIS A
