Abstract:
REQUIRES CANADIAN MANAGEMENT INVESTMENT COMPANIES REGISTERED UNDER THE ACT TO INCLUDE IN THEIR CHARTERS AND BY-LAWS PROVISIONS STATING THAT THE COMPANIES AND THEIR INVESTMENT ADVISERS WILL MAINTAIN, IN THE UNIT STATES, BOOKS AND RECORDS WHICH COMPLY WITH PROVISIONS OF THE ACT. ASSURES THAT THE COMMISSION WILL HAVE JURISDICTION AND AUTHORITY WITH RESPECT TO THOSE RECORDS.
