Abstract:
THE LOCOMOTIVE INSPECTION ACT REQUIRES RAILROADS TO INSPECT, REPAIR, AND MAINTAIN LOCOMOTIVES AND EVENT RECORDERS SO THAT THEY ARE SAFE, FREE OF DEFECTS AND CAN BE REPLACED IN SERVICE WITHOUT PERIL TO LIFE.
