The report should emphasize where the actual survey differs from the implementation plan in areas such as CATI/CAPI interviewing, and estimating methodology. Abstract:
THE CURRENT POPULATION SURVEY IS THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF DATA ON THE GROWTH OF THE LABOR FORCE AND ON THE TRENDS IN TOTAL EMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT. THESE DATA ARE WIDELY USED, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE GOVERNMENT, AS INDICATORS OF THE ECONOMIC HEALTH OF THE NATION AND OF VARIOUS GROUPS WHICH MAKE UP THE NATION'S POPULATION.
