INFORMATION FROM DEALER REPORTING FORMS IS NEEDED TO OBTAIN FISHERY DEPENDENT DATA ON FISHING CATCH, EFFORT, AND ASSOCIATED BIOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC INFORMATION FROM COMMERCIAL FISHERY DEALERS. DATA ARE USED F STOCK ASSESSMENTS, QUOTA COMPLIANCE, REGULATORY ANALYSIS, AND FISHERY MONITORING.
