Abstract:
EIA-457A/H COLLECTS COMPREHENSIVE, NATIONAL AND REGIONAL DATA ON THE CONSUMPTION OF ENERGY IN THE RESIDENTIAL SECTOR. DATA ARE USED FOR ANALYSIS AND FORECASTING. HOUSING AND DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS DAT ARE COLLECTED VIA PERSONAL INTERVIEWS, AND CONSUMPTION AND EXPENDITURE BILLING DATA ARE COLLECTED FROM THE ENERGY SUPPLIERS. RENTAL AGENTS A CONTACTED BY TELEPHONE TO CHECK ON FUELS USED IN RENTED APARTMENTS.
