Abstract:
THE PLANT VARIETY PROTECTION ACT PROVIDES FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF PROTECTION ON NOVEL VARIETIES OF SEED-REPRODUCED CROPS SIMILAR TO PATENTS. INFORMATION COLLECTED IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EXPE EXAMINERS IN THE PVPO A BASIS FOR ISSUING OR DENYING A CERTIFICATE OF PROTECTION.
