Terms of Clearance: This form is approved for a limited time period of one year. In its next request for OMB approval OPM should reflect consideration of ways to shorten the instructions. Many items covered in the instructions appear to be self explanatory. In addition OPM should consider removing general program information from the packet or movin it to the back of the instructions. OMB is sending seperately to OPM a detailed markup of the instructions with suggestions as to how this simplification might be accomplished.
