We have adjusted the number of responses for FY 94 in proportion to the burden for FY 94 compared with the estimated burden for the 3-year estimate provided in your original submission. If you believe that this is incorrect, please submit a correction worksheet. It is our understanding that individual collections wil be submitted for review with an expected OMB turn-around of 2 weeks. 8/9/94. The Reader's Survey (indianapolis) dated August 3rd is approv as submitted. 8/15/94. Approved with the guideline submitted 8/10. IRS should subm report to OMB at the completion of the survey, including the number of Remarks added, eff. 10/12/94: PC:V 94-008 is approved as submitted. Project PC:V 94-009-G is approved with the conditions that: 1) any changes proposed after the test period will be submitted to OMB for review, 2) a report of the test will be submitted upon its completion, and 3) a report of the project will be submitted including the response rate at the completion. THESE VOLUNTARY CUSTOMER SURVEYS WILL BE USED TO IMPLEMENT E.O. 12862 BY OBTAINING QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE CUSTOMER DATA ACROSS IRS, PRIMARILY IN THESE AREAS: EVALUATIVE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS, ADDITIONAL STUDIES INDICATED BY THE CUSTOMER SATIFACTION SURVEY, STUDIES TO VALIDATE/REFINE PRODUCT CHANGES RESULTING FROM THE IRS TRANSITION STRATEGY, FUNCTIONAL CUSTOMER DATA REQUIREMENTS.
