Abstract:
THE COAST GUARD BOATING SAFETY HOTLINE RECEIVED CALLS FROM CONSUMERS WHO BELIEVE THEIR BOATS OR ENGINES CONTAIN DEFECTS RELATED TO SAFETY. THE BOAT OWNER'S REPORT - POSSIBLE SAFETY DEFECT FORM WILL BE USED TO GATHER ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FROM A CONSUMER CONCERNING THE POTENTIAL DEFECT TO BE USED IN THE COAST GUARD INVESTIGATION.
