THE MARITIME ADMINISTRATION, OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF NAVAL OPERATIONS, AND THE MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND REQUIRE AN INVENTORY OF FOREIGN REGISTERED VESSELS OWNED BY AMERICANS FOR REFERENCE IN NATIONAL EMERGENCIES.
