Abstract:
THE RULE 10B-1 AMENDMENTS ARE NEEDED TO PROTECT INVESTORS SO THAT THEY CAN BETTER REVIEW THE TRANSACTION COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR SECURITI TRANSACTIONS. BECAUSE THE RULE APPLIES TO ALL BROKER-DEALERS EFFECTIN TRANSACTIONS FOR A CUSTOMER, THE RULE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO AFFECT ABOU 8,300 FIRMS.
