THE STANDARD REQUIRES EMPLOYERS, UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES, TO NOTIFY THE AGENCY PRIOR TO USING NEW OR MODIFIED CONTROL TECHNOLOGY. THE STANDARD ALSO REQUIRES EMPLOYERS TO ALLOW OSHA ACCESS TO THEIR VARIOUS RECORDS.
