Abstract:
THE SURVEY IS NEEDED TO COLLECT DATA ON U.S. DIRECT INVESTMENT ABROAD BE USED IN THE FORMULATION OF GOVERNMENT POLICY AND WILL SERVE AS A BA FROM WHICH BALANCE OF PAYMENTS AND FINANCIAL AND OPERATING DATA COLLECTED IN SAMPLE SURVEYS CAN BE EXPANDED TO UNIVERSE ESTIMATES. REQUIRED FOR COMPILING THE BALANCE OF PAYMENTS INTERNATIONAL INVESTMEN POSITIONS AND NATIONAL INCOME AND PRODUCT ACCOUNTS OF THE UNITED STATE
