Abstract:
THE NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULES PROVIDES A BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING THE FINAL POLICIES GOVERNING THE ORGAN PROCUREMENT AND TRANSPLANTATION NEWWORK (OPTN). THESE RULES WILL REGULATE THE OPERATION OF THE OPTN I FOUR MAJOR AREAS: MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS, PATIENT LISTING, ORGAN ALLOCATION, AND RECORD MAINTENANCE AND RECORDING.
