Abstract:
OWNERS/OPERATORS MUST NOTIFY EPA OF CONSTRUCTION, MODIFICATION, STARTUPS, SHUTDOWNS, MALFUNCTIONS, DATE AND RESULTS OF PERFORMANCE TEST. PERIODS OF EXCESS SO2 AND NOX EMISSIONS SHALL BE REPORTED SEMI-ANNUALLY. THE SULFUR AND NITROGEN CONTENT OF THE FUEL SHALL BE RECORDED. OWNERS/OPERATORS USING WATER INJECTION TO CONTROL NOX INSTALL A CONTINUOUS MONITORING SYSTEM TO RECORD FUEL CONSUMPTION AND THE FUEL TO WATER RATIO. INFORMATION IS USED TO IMPLEMENT AND ENFORCE THE STANDARD.
