Abstract:
Rule 17Ad-10 requires transfer agent to create and maintain certain minimum information regarding the securityholder's ownership of the issue of securities for which it performs transfer agent functions. The proposed amendments would require transfer agents to update their records within ten business days instead of thirty calendar days, as currently required.
