Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by CNCS' memoranda to OMB of 03/10/95, 03/16/95, and 03/17/95. In addition, CNCS shall meet the following conditions: -- The last sentence of the "Employment History" paragraph on both forms shall also instruct applicants not to complete the education section under II if the resume contains this same information; alternatively, the instruction could indicate that the resume need not include the education history provided under II (either revision will prevent duplicative reporting). -- CNCS will revise the NCCC application to eliminate mention of "letters" of reference, as was done for the Leaders application.

Abstract: THROUGH THE ACL APPLICATION, THE AMERICORPS* LEADERS PROGRAM WILL SELECT LEADERS BASED ON CRITERIA OUTLINED IN SECTION 138(E) OF THE NATIONAL COMMUNITY SERVICE ACT OF 1990 (AS AMENDED). THE AMERICORPS* LEADERS PROGRAM WOULD LIKE TO PROVIDE THE COMPLEMENTARY BENEFIT OF QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS TO THE SERVICE SITES WITH WHOM THEY ARE MATCHED.
