The Department is requested to ensure that the recordkeeping requirements contained in these regulations specify the length of time persons are required to maintain the records in accordance with Section 3506(c)(3)(F) of 44 U.S.C. Chapter 35. Preparations should be made in the near future to provide necessary regulatory changes as soon as practicable to accomplish this.

Abstract:
Tobacco manufacturers or export warehouse proprietors are liable for tax on tobacco products on their premises. Tobacco products, cigarette papers, and tubes may be removed without payment of tax for specific and verifiable purposes. This form documents and verifies these removals.
