Terms of Clearance:
Approved as amended by DOL's memoranda to OMB of 9/20/95 and 9/22/95. Approval through March 1998 will conicide the next clearance request with DOL's stated timeline for automation of many Job Corps information system forms, which we recommend be done as quickly as possible. DOL shall provide a copy of the automation plan, including projected products and completion dates, as soon as possible for review as an addendum to this clearance package. Once autoamted, the weekly WSSR will cease to be collected. DOL shall also meet the following conditions: -- DOL shall consult with respondents regarding the utility and burden reduction that would be created by less frequent collection of the now-monthly Health Utilization Statistics form and financial reports. Specifically, this consultation shall solicit comment on the desirability of reporting this information quarterly or semi-annually, as opposed to monthly. DOL shall report on the results of this consultation, and make appropriate recommendations for revision or explanation of why no revision is proposed, as part of the next request for PRA clearance. -- DOL will provide OMB with an information copy of a center operating plan as soon as possible, to demonstrate how this information is used by Job Corps centers (DOL may provide any typical COP).
