Abstract:
This class exemption exempts from the prohibited transaction restrictions of ERISA the purchase and sale by an employee benefit plan to shares of a registered, open-end mutual fund when a fiduciary with respect to the plan (e.g., an investment manager) is also investment adviser for the mutual fund.
