Abstract:
Executive Order 12919 delegates to DoD the authority to require certain contracts and orders relating to approved Defense programs to be accepted and performed on a preferential basis. This program assists contractors in more expeditiously acquiring industrial equiment, thereby providing vital weapons systems to the Government within a shorter timeframe. Completion and submission provides contractors the means to apply for the necessary priority rating.
