Abstract:
The Mail Order or Telephone Merchandise Rule (16 C.F.R. 453) requires mail or telephone order merchants to substantiate any shipment representation; to notify the consumer of and obtain consent for any shipping delay; and to make prompt and full refunds if consumer exercises cancellation option.
