Terms of Clearance:
Approved through March 1997. This short approval will provide Customs an opportunity to provide estimates of the dollar cost to the responding public as required by the 1995 PRA. Customs should plan to solicit comments on the cost of this collection when the required notice of the 60-day review is published prior to submission of the request for review to OMB. Also, a notice of correction should be submitted, if needed to correct the burden estimate.

Abstract:
This part of the regulation provides that certain items may be admitted duty-free, such as farming implements, seed, potatoes, etc., provided the importer can prove these items were actually used as contemplated by law. The importer must maintain detailed records and furnish a statement of use.
