Abstract:
Section 5 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) provides EPA with a regulagory mechanism to monitor and, if necessary, control significant new uses of chemical substances. Once a use is designated as a significant new use, a person must notify EPA at least 90 days in advance if their intent is to commence that use.
