Abstract:
Fruits and vegetables need to be inspected to ensure that no plant pests are brought into the United States, requiring the use of a phytosanitary certificate issued by plant health officials of the exporting country stating that the fruit or vegetables originated from an area free of certain agricultural diseases or pests.
