Federal law (5 U.S.C. 8531 et seq.) provides unemployment insurance protection to former members of the Armed Forces (ex-servicemembers) and is referred to in abbreviated form as "UCX." The forms in the UCX Handbook are used in connection with the provisions of this benefit assistance.
