This collection is approved based on the following condition agreed to by ED. ED shall collect information using an interim performance report (ED's generic performance report) in the first year only. In subsequent years, the annual performance report which is collected at the end of the project period will serve as the source of information to assess grantee performance.

Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program grantees are required to submit annual performance reports. The reports are used to evaulate project accomplishments, compliance, prior experience, and collect impact data for budget submissions and congressional hearings.
