This collection is approved as amended by OCSE's revision of 4/21/97. However, OCSE allowed this collection to expire in April of 1993 and has thus collected information illegally for the last four years. This collection is a violation of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and will be cited in the Annual Information Collection Budget (ICB) Report. OCSE must take careful steps to ensure that such violations, including this and other agency collections, do not occur in the future.

Abstract:
45 CFR 303.7 requires the State Child Support Enforcement (CSE) programs to transmit child support case information on standard interstate forms when referring cases to other States for processing. The forms promote uniformity and standardization. The revision of the standard interstate forms is required due to a change in the law governing interstate CSE. For the past 40 years, the interstate CSE process has been controlled by the Uniform Reciprocal Enforcement of Support Act.
