Abstract:
This form is used to determine the eligibility (under the GCA) of a person to receive a firearm from a Federal firearms licensee. It is also used to establish the identity of a buyer. The form is also used in law enforcement in investigations/inspections to trace firearms or to confirm criminal activity of persons violating the GCA.
