Terms of Clearance: Approved as amended by NSF's memorandum of 8/28. NSF will submit survey instruments used under this approval 10 working days prior the the intended mail-out date in order to permit OMB to provide any comments on the intended survey. NSF will insure that surveys using statistical methods will receive proper review by agency statistical experts prior to providing OMB with a copy of an intended survey. Along with the copy to be provided for the 10 working day period, NSF will provide a brief justification that discusses purpose, intended respondents,estimated burden, and information on statistical methodology.
