When resubmitting this ICR for renewal, the Agency should re- evaluate the burden estimate of the Compliance Assurance Monitoring (CAM) Program to reflect actual implementation of the program. The re-evaluation should include an analysis of the effectiveness of the program, the merits of adjusting the focus of the program and, if appropriate, the renewal package should provide a discussion of next steps for making adjustments to the program.

Abstract:
Respondents are major stationary services of air pollution that are required to obtain operating permits under title V of the Clean Air Act. Owners or operators of such sources are required to conduct monitoring to provide a reasonable assurance of compliance with applicable requirements under the Act.
