Abstract:
Whenever a new investment in bank premises by a State-member bank causes that bank's total dollar investment in bank premises to exceed 100 percent of the bank's capital stock and surplus account (or 150 percent if the bank is well capitalized and in good condition), the bank is required to send an application to the appropriate Reserve Bank requesting permission to proceed.
