Abstract:
Manufacturers of gasolines, diesel fuels, and additives for gasoline and/or diesel are required to conduct health-effects research, unless they qualify for an exemption. Many small businesses are exempt from some or all of the requirements. Manufacturers of similar products have the opportunity to group and share the expenses. The information will be used to identify products whose emissions may pose an unreasonable risk by public health.
