Abstract:
The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) originally authorized the NIGC to assess fees on class II revenues. The IGRA and NIGC's regulations have been amended to add class III revenues to the assessable gross revenue base. As a result, fees are being collected and reports are being required from additional gaming operations.
