Abstract:
To carry out the requirements of part I, section 4, of the Federal Power Act, the Commission is authorized and empowered to issue licenses to any citizen, corporation, State, or municipality for the purpose of developing dams, reservoirs, powerhouses, etc., to improve navigation or develop and transmit generated power.
