This programmatic clearance is approved under the following terms of clearance. Prior to the use of each instrument, the agency must complete the attached form, which has been provided to the agency paperwork clearance officer, and the usual supporting statement The agency paperwork clearance officer must sign the form and send the survey instrument, form, and supporting statement to the OIRA docket. OIRA will review the instrument for no more than two weeks and inform the agency paperwork officer by email when review has been completed, after which the paperwork officer may use OMB number 0694-0119 on the instrument.

Abstract:
Commerce/BXA, in coordination with other Government agencies and private entities, conducts assessments of U.S. industries deemed critical to our national security. The information gathered is needed to assess the health and competitiveness, as well as the needs of the targeted industry sector in order to maintain a strong U.S. industrial base.
