Terms of Clearance:
Approved as amended by and consistent with ED's memo to OMB of 7/9/99. In addition the following terms apply: (1) OMB notes significant concern that this form was allowed to expire necessitating the use of the emergency clearance procedure under the PRA. ED will make greater efforts in the future to file appropriate Federal Register notices for renewal in a timely fashion. (2) In the regular submission of this emergency approval request ED will update OMB on initiaves to enhance the DL website to make electronic submission of this form available for all respondents as well as the initiative to develop an electronic signature alternative for that purpose.
