Abstract:
FERC-545 information is required by the Commission to determine if an interstate pipeline's rate filing complies with the requiremnts of section 4, 5, and 16 of the Natural Gas Act and/or Order No. 636 (Restruction Rule) and that the charges for the transportation/sales of natural gas are just and reasonable. The data are also needed to determine whether Outer Contental Shelf (OCS) gas transportation services conform with the open access and nondiscrimination madates of the OCS Lands Act as proposed in Docket No. RM99-5-000; a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) issued June 30, 1999.
