Abstract:
The information requested in Rev. Proc. 97-1 under proposed sections 5.05, 6.07, 8.01, 8.02, 8.03, 8.04, 8.05, 8.07, 9.01, 10.06, 10.07, 10.09, 11.01, 11.06, 11.07, 12.11, 13.02, 15.02, 15.07, 15.08, 15.09, and 15.11, paragraph (B)(1) of Appendix A, Appendix C, and in Rev. Proc. 97-3 under proposed sections 3.01 (22), (24), (25), (27), and (28), 3.02(1) and (3), 4.01(26), and 4.02(1) and (7)(b) is required to enable the Internal Revenue Service to give advice on filing letter ruling and determination letter requests and process such requests.
